Arctic7 is a transmedia services company leveraging gaming expertise to offer cutting-edge technology and creative solutions in film & TV production. Our comprehensive services span the entire production process, starting with visualization and production consultation and continuing through to post-production. Central to our approach is the use of real-time iterationand visualization technologies, significantly enhancing filmmaking efficiency and creativity. Our specialized services include Virtual Art Department, Visualization, Final Pixel, ICVFX, Cinematics & Trailer creation, Immersive Spatial Experiences, and IP Extension & Transmedia.
2. How has Arctic7 adapted gaming expertise to lead invirtual film production?
We integrate real-time rendering engines such as Unreal into film production. This allows rapid visualization, dynamic virtual environments, and seamless integration of real-time 3D elements throughout all production stages, enhancing creative flexibility and efficiency.
3. Tell us about the process behind creating a Virtual ArtDepartment – what makes it unique?
Our Virtual Art Department workflow begins with virtual storyboarding, directly pulling reference images and storyboards into Unreal. We then build out 3D block-outs and visualizations of the environments, incorporate technical and stunt visualization (tech-vis/stunt-vis) for detailed production planning, and utilize photogrammetry or Gaussian splats to accurately replicate practical assets. This comprehensive and cost-effective approach enhances pre-production efficiency and creative flexibility.

4. What’s your process for planning and executing ICVFX (In-Camera VFX) workflows?
Our ICVFX workflow combines traditional filmmaking with real-time virtual production techniques using LED screens. We create photoreal virtual environments ideal for scenes that are complicated, dangerous, impractical, or simply impossible to film practically. By meticulously planning through pre-visualization and rehearsals, we streamline production, minimize post-production VFX needs, and enable dynamic, real-time adjustments during filming, significantly expediting overall production timelines.
5. Can you share how you collaborate with studios to enhance their projects?
We enhance global collaboration with studios through virtual scouting processes, enabling teams to collectively visualize and refine environments remotely. Regular real-time reviews facilitate ongoing dialogue, iterative refinement, and ensure key creatives remain aligned, resulting in seamless integration of creative vision and technology across all production phases.
6. What challenges are you solving for clients when it comes to trailers and cinematic content?
Our approach addresses the challenges of tight timelines and high visual expectations by leveraging real-time rendering technology. We deliver cinematic content quickly and iteratively, enabling clients to visualize and refine storytelling elements efficiently and effectively.

Quality and innovation are maintained through deep industry experience, continuous investment in cutting-edge technology, and active collaboration with leading studios such as Disney, Lucasfilm and Marvel. This approach ensures groundbreaking visual quality and narrative depth.
8. What’s your process for identifying opportunities to extend IP across multiple platforms?
We analyze trends and audience engagement to identifyopportunities for extending IP across multiple platforms, including games, immersive experiences, and interactive narratives. Our integrated approach blends high-quality visuals and deep storytelling to expand IP reach and impact.
9. What are the benefits of immersive/XR content instorytelling today?
Immersive and XR content significantly enhances storytelling by providing deeply engaging, interactive, and emotionally resonant experiences. By placing audiences directly within the narrative world, it deepens their emotional connection, as they are affected more profoundly when they feel part of the story itself. This expands narrative possibilities, allowing for richer, more personalized audience interactions across entertainment and marketing applications.

10. How has Arctic7 built a team that blends creative vision with real-time production tech?
Our team combines seasoned creative visionaries and real-time production specialists. Led by industry veterans experienced in gaming and virtual production, our multi-disciplinary team fosters collaboration and innovation, blending artistic creativity with technical prowess.
11. Which project best showcases Arctic7’s impact in the film and TV space?
While it's easy to highlight our high-profile projectssuch as "The Mandalorian", "Skeleton Crew” and "Ahsoka", our most exciting showcase is always the next project we're working on. With each season of Star Wars productions, we've refined our processes and delivered increasingly impactful results. Additionally, our involvement with IP adaptations such as "Avatar: The Last Airbender" highlights our growth from initial concept design through full creative involvement, from early development to final pixel and post-production.
12. How do you see the convergence of gaming and cinematic content evolving in the next five years?
We anticipate an increasingly interconnected relationship between gaming and cinematic content, driven by real-time technologies and interactive storytelling. Gaming experiences and cinematic narratives will become more deeply intertwined, where viewers' histories can influence their gameplay and gaming worlds can evolve into expansive virtual hubs of extended cinematic experiences. This heightened interplay across media will redefine storytelling, creating richer, more immersive, and personalized entertainment landscapes.
